Larks & Ravens are curating ‘godshed’ an evolving, participative event exploring ‘gods of our time’ at this year’s Fringe Arts Bath Festival 2026
godshed – an Imaginal Space
Curated by ‘Larks & Ravens’

Death and Convenience in conversation
“There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy,” (Shakespeare’s Hamlet)
godshed is a space between dimensions of reality – earth and the imaginal……
Where is the boundary and how do things move between the two?
Here you may encounter cardboard ‘gods of our time’ who offer just one of many possible representations of the invisible concepts which shape or distort our thinking, values, politics and everyday culture.
Each day features different ‘gods of the day‘ as hosts for a ‘Question of the day’. We invite you to respond through conversation, drawing, writing or in making your own imaginal beings to bring alive concepts which shape thinking and culture and further populate this space.
The godshed exhibition will evolve over 5 consecutive days of participative events.
